I thank God for this privilege and this family of God too. Where ever you are, Start praying in the spirit for the next 5mins. Isa 43 says all things were created for his glory, And if all things were created for his glory. It also means all that concerns us also.

We will be looking into a sensitive matter this evening so I will start by asking
IS A GODLY SOCIETY POSSIBLE IN THIS EARTHLY REALM?
Forging ahead cos of time, What then is a Godly society? Because of time, Let’s check 2pet 1:4 Psalms 82:1 and 6
We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust. (2 Peter 1:4|MSG-http://b-bq.eu/2Pet/1_4/MSG)
2Pet 1:4: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Peter tells us we have a divine nature existing on the earth, Psalms calls us gods. So defining a Godly society, Its an environment where all of the God essence is displayed or exhibited. An environment where all consistent with the life and nature of God are on the show. If we check verse 5 and 7 of psalms 82 we see the result of not functioning in this awareness. Ignorant judges! Head-in-the-sand judges!They haven’t a clue to what’s going on.And now everything’s falling apart,the world’s coming unglued. … But you’ve betrayed your commission and now you’re stripped of your rank, busted.” (Psalms 82:5,7|MSG-http://b-bq.eu/Ps/82_5,7/MSG)
So we having the God nature and being a god on earth (exhibiting the characteristic of the life we carry) makes our location a Godly society.

We are focusing now on the FAMILY
What the family is? And what it stands for in Gods scheme of events/plan/purpose. But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? (Romans 10:14|MSG-http://b-bq.eu/Rom/10_14/MSG)

Are we seeing where out responsibility as parents and soon to be parents? Before I talk about the family. We know that two family is a product of marriage So if you are not married yet. Kip trusting God prayerfully to help with a partner that will help chat the course of this assignment because if a marriage is wrongly constituted , the family will be affected in the long run and so the society. Setting up a family we must note that it is a means to an end, and not an end in itself. Nehemiah 4:17 who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand. Why is the family key?
School education teaches us that the family bus the first agent of socialization
Biblically, its the oldest institution on earth Gen 2:18
But guess what, A Godly society is only possible via a Godly family/home
Then what’s a Godly family?
A Godly family is not just a family where everyone goes to church, It’s a home where the principles of Jesus, the father’s plans, pleasure and purposes are represented.We all know if the family is weak, the society will be weak, Same with the church.
The church is weakened when the family is weak. The influence of the church is diminished by homes/families in turmoil. Then we can conclusively say a twisted society is easily traced to the family
Let me ask??
Have you ever wandered or asked yourself, why there are no reciprocated effects to the number of churches in our society? It shows it doesn’t end with/in the church. Sadly the norm in majority of homes/family is to focuse on externals.

1. Did it say in the way I as a parent want the child to go?
2. Did it say the way the child feels like going?

But let’s see an example of a man who left his kids to chances The man of God called Eli In the book of 1samuel Of course Eli’s children attended church services, they heard sermons. But why was their end the way it is? Clearly spell out, The fault of the parents. That’s how we have zealous, serious minded believers, who are busy but forget their first assignment at home. Every successful home/family is a threat to the kingdom of darkness and they must fight back.
Sometimes I do ask If Satan can bewitch a child as early as 2-5yrs, while can’t the word of God possess same in that little stage. Sadly, its only believers I see that allow their kids to fraternize and learn things not consistent with out nature. We are making progress right?? Psalms 127:5

From verse 3 into 5, we see that these tools referred to are children So whosoever hands we commit them to knowingly or unknowingly. They become weapons of mass destruction. As we begin to round up, lemme drop this Never become too busy with activities to neglect the moral, social and above all the spiritual needs of your children. There is the
– Boss servant relationship
– Father son relationship
By father son relationship, I mean the provider (finance) mentality But there is the best I will prescribe for us to add The friendship kind of relationship. This one is rare in Nigeria. Seriously, if you can become your kids best friend, it would do a lot of good. The 21st century kind of children are awesome ooo. How can they learn friendship with the holy ghost? When they haven’t experience such with you A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Proverbs 13:22 KJV

When it talks about inheritance, Was it just referring to riches? I think NO Because in chapter 11 It talks about men of strength retaining riches. We have moral strength and above all spiritual strength. So these inheritances are values for living. Have you not heard of rich men whose children squandered the riches overtime. Finally my brethren, John 6:39

We see here the accountability consciousness of Jesus. We as parents will give account for the outcome of the lives of our children because LIFE IS A GIFT OF TRUST FROM GOD.
